The Old Admission Import feature in DigiEdu ERP allows schools to upload a list of existing/returning students directly using an Excel or CSV file. Instead of typing every single student’s name, class, and details one by one, you can upload the whole file, and the software will import records instantly.
How to Use It (Step-by-Step)
- Prepare Your Excel/CSV File:Make sure you have an Excel sheet ready with all the student details formatted correctly according to the school software’s rules (such as Admission Number, Student Name, Class, Father’s Name, Mobile Number, etc.).
- Choose Your File:Click on the [Choose file] button on the screen to select your student data file from your computer.
- Upload the File:Click the green [Upload] button to send the file to the system.
- Import Data:Once uploaded, click the blue [Import] button to bring all those student profiles directly into your school database.
- Create Ledger Checkbox:If you want the software to automatically set up their financial ledgers for fee tracking, make sure the Create Ledger box is ticked ($\checkmark$) before importing.
